This region is characterised by its high fertility soils that allow fodder production with high productivity, quality and low cost.

Direct grazing achieves high yields with high productive animal efficiency. Margins achieved enhance and value the land. This region has a very traditional livestock industry.

Our activities are carried out in our own previously developed fields with first level livestock infrastructure. Production options are:

Breeding. Rodeo of cows bred in a grazing open-air system, sale of males and the surplus of females.
Complete cycle. Breeding and fattening of male and female calves until their sale.
Over- wintering. Animals, males or females, are fattened to pasture until sale.
Feed lot. Categories mentioned above during over-wintering complete their last 100 kilos of fattening in a pen where they receive a concentrated diet of grains and hay or silo.

In Carlos Casado, in order to achieve the greatest productivity of resources, different production units are specialised in one of the aforementioned. The use of the feed lot allows to leverage the entire fattening process as well as to value our grains.
